I have used version 3.4 as portable on a USB-stick at work, and there's
been no trace on the computer after Photoscape.
Extracted, installed and used version 3.5 today. Still no trace on the
computer.

That's weird.
I've tried Photoscape again right now from the USB-stick, but on my home
laptop. Photoscape is not installed here, either.
No trace left this time either, except once in the registry in MUICache on
E, of course(E is the letter for my USB-stick).
Is it possible that you get these files because the program is on your
hdd, while mine is on a USB-stick?
Seems like a rather peculiar explanation, though.

BTW, thanks for posting about the update.
Photoscape is a program I use frequently.
