From: shrink4g on 24 May 2010 13:22 Having been using Smart Defrag for awhile and I am about to switch gear due to the upgrade to 64bit Window7. I found 2 that are supporting the 64bit native, but have no experience (how well they work) using them. Between Mydefrag and Defraggler, which would you recommend? Thanks.

Reading Puran's descriptions, they sound very powerful and useful of the provided features. Also, the free version is "no" difference then the pay version, yet I find no comparison chart between the 2. Surely there must be some scale back on the free one. Do you know the diff?

It's a lot of work to test these apps on equal terms. However, a computer magazine did that about four months ago. MyDefrag was considered the best free alternative. IIRC speed and optimization was measured, maybe other factors, too. I've used it and its predecessor for a long time.
