You know, WinPatrol, used properly, can be all the real time
protection one needs. All you need in addition is an on-demand virus
scanner, or just use an on-line scanner such as www.VirusTotal.com.

If you add a firewall, I agree.
Note that WinPatrol still support W9x-ME.
For those who still dare to access Internet with these OS, WinPatrol is
particularly valuable.

Version 18 does not currently support Windows 98/2K and has limited 64 bit
