From: Robert Comer on 14 Jan 2010 07:38 Do you get any kind of message about the integration components being disabled? It really should be there if the integration components are working... VMWare does do USB, so that's certainly an option... -- Bob Comer On Thu, 14 Jan 2010 12:13:33 +0000, Brian Smith <bsmith(a)NO.SPAM.schemiotics.co.uk> wrote: >But its not on any menu - I only have Action, Tools and Ctrl+Alt_Del > >Just been creating a new Win7 VM, and it looks just the same. From: Brian Smith on 14 Jan 2010 09:45 OK, I've found, and fixed, the problem. I thought the IC had installed, but it seems it hadn't. When I clicked on the Setup.exe on the virtual CD then it installed correctly, after a reboot, and I do now have working USB support! What confused the situation was that the VM Settings seemed to show that IC was installed and enabled. But I did have an 'Upgrade Integration Components' option on the Tools menu that when I clicked it, seemed to do nothing. That's when I tried running from the CD. Thanks for your help. brian Robert Comer wrote: > Do you get any kind of message about the integration components being > disabled? > > It really should be there if the integration components are working... > > VMWare does do USB, so that's certainly an option... >
