From: Nomen Nescio on 17 Jul 2007 23:00 >This is the USB version of the 250meg Zip Drive from Iomega. I'm not much of fan of Iomega but here's a suggestion. Search this group for the thread " PNY Attache 512 MB Question" there was a link or suggestion to update the USB drivers for 98SE. That should work. Also, I'd recommend you create a file C:USB Drivers. [x] and download the updated (extracted) drivers here. And also under the same file create one Iomega Drivers Do that with your [x] video card [x] sound card [x] monitor Oh and most importanly, keep a C:Win98se with your extracted Windows installation disk, there. That way you have the drivers on a drive that can be easily reinstall in case of an emergency. W.C. Fields: "Smart computing folks, smart computing."
From: Zephyr on 22 Jul 2007 11:54 It is likely you are using an "older" board with a USB 1.0 connection, and the ZIP DRIVE may require a USB 2.0 connection. If this is all true, you will need to purchase a PCI ~ USB 2.0 card and update from there. -- Zyp "Nomen Nescio" <nobody(a)dizum.com> wrote in message news:52d549722c81ed93c7b47d6c29ef4416(a)dizum.com... > >This is the USB version of the 250meg Zip Drive from Iomega. > > I'm not much of fan of Iomega but here's a suggestion.
