Next: Task Duration vs Actual Effort vs Actual start date
From: "Steve House" sjhouse at hotmail dot on 28 Nov 2009 08:02 A task type of Fixed Duration DOES NOT mean that the duration is engraved in granite and will never change under any circumstance, nor does it mean it's read-only and cannot be edited. It means that when you have a resource assigned and edit one of the assignment parameters so as to change either the work performed by the resource or the effort units he's assigned to work, the duration will remain constant and the either the units will change (when editing work) or the work will change (when editing units).
