There seemed to be no way to delete the O2 DNS settings that were there at the time, but they became grayed-out, and they did seem to vanish after using the new settings for a while. Google DNS was awful. It hardly worked at all. When (and I don't know when or why) the O2 settings vanished it connected once or twice, then wouldn't connect at all. Searching, I found namebench <http://code.google.com/p/namebench/> which is an app that checks out a number of free DNS servers to see which is best for your location. After running it, it gave me these results <http://img.skitch.com/20100708-d3matcsf4maddwe6g17m6wwpsk.jpg> and I'm now using UltraDNS and BT-6 GB (as suggested by the app). I am definitely seeing less of the previous time-out issues I was before (though a couple are still there), and things seem a lot smoother. This time the O2 settings are grayed-out, but are still listed in that field. The only issue now is that my MacBook drops the WiFi connection to the router very occasionally (maybe less than once per browsing session. Cheers ... Mark
