From: Glenn on 10 Apr 2010 12:04 I have captured a bunch of my old vhs tapes and have them on the hd. There's over runs, things I just done want, would like to paste one on to another to make those run continuously, etc. I don't know what that kind of program is even called so I need some hints. I have lost track of the net one that lists all programs in categories. Can someone post the link for me? And maybe even a hint of what category to look in. [g]

[g] there are two types of editors you`re thinking of. (Trust me, i`m a mind reader %>) ) Video editor for videos, which it is presumed is what you need. The other option is Audio editors for music, etc. Your best bet is to go to www.google.com and type in.... Freeware video editors, you`ll get loads of hits. Two that come to mind, are Virtualdub, and Videodemux, both of which you can get for free, on google. HTH

From: Glenn on 10 Apr 2010 19:38 Maybe I shouldn't have looked. I tried the Virtualdub one. The following is a note I just sent them I wanted a video editing program. You indicated it was free. Reading the fine print, I see you are sending 2 more cd's that I will be charged for. That is a gross miss- representation. I don't want them so cancel them as I will put a stop payment on any additional charges on the credit card. I consider this completely underhanded and if you can't stop the 2 extra ones that I will be charged for, I'm going to the national Better Business Bureau. However, send just the video one that I'm paying for the shipment of and we can part as friends The fine print also says they will send me 2 more every month and charge my credit card.. I suggest avoiding them like the plague "Glenn" <glenn(a)kc.rr.com> wrote in message news:96e6b$4bc0ba02$407e31c0$31646(a)EVERESTKC.NET... Thank you much. I shall look. From: Glenn on 10 Apr 2010 20:37 Seems I got their attention. [g] Got an email stating all fees including the one I had agreed to, to ship the cd has been canceled and the fee refunded. No cd is coming (surprise). [g] I'll start over. Might first look (carefully) at the other one you recommended. Don't we have fun.
