Thanks. No good, though. Though it states above that WinXP is
supported, the website says it's for Win7. I dl it anyway but, sure
enough, it won't work.

Is there any other program out there? I've searched, of course, but
the results have not been good. i.e., besides some shareware, I found
that the latest Super! does this but the results were pretty lame as
they were large-sized yet much too grainy and pixelated. I've seen
aniGIF conversions from movie clips as sigs that _do_ look good so I
know this can be done.

The website states there are two separate programs. The latest version
for Win7, and the old version for XP/Vista. The download for Win7 is
not intended to work for XP. The old version works for my Vista
system.

Virtualdub exports to animated gif, but quite poorly.
Ulead Gif Animator 2.0 imports avi and is very good.
