apt-cache policy libavcodec52

Note the version that is in the debian repositories, and then:

aptitude install
libav{codec52,device52,filter0,format52,util49,postproc51}=<the version
you just found out> ffmpeg=version

This was not really enough, I had to downgrwade libswscale0 too, but
that finally fixed the problem.
