From: Peter on 25 Apr 2010 05:01 I have a Vodafone PAYG 3g dongle - the one that is topped up with 15 of airtime and which airtime does not expire at the end of the month - i.e. the balance is there to be used until it is spent. I now have need of a seconbd such dongle - does anyone know if they are stilloffered by Voidafone, and id so, what I should ask for in one of their shops? -- Cheers Peter (Reply to address is a spam trap - pse reply to the group)
From: alexd on 25 Apr 2010 08:56 I believe the credit expiry is a function of the SIM card, not the dongle. Is it the specific dongle you're interested in, or the credit expiry? -- <http://ale.cx/> (AIM:troffasky) (UnSoEsNpEaTm(a)ale.cx) 13:53:19 up 16 days, 3:19, 2 users, load average: 0.05, 0.16, 0.12 It is better to have been wasted and then sober than to never have been wasted at all

Voda do a PAYG dongle, but I was told in the Voda store at Paddington today that the credit expires at the end of the month, requiring another 15 top-up and so on. With my current dongle/sim card the credit is available until I've used it - could be 3 or 4 months. So I need a new (second) dongle and the appropriate sim card. I intend checking in another Voda shop tomorrow, but in the meantime would be grateful for any advice/suggestions -- Cheers Peter -- Cheers Peter (Reply to address is a spam trap - pse reply to the group)
