From: Camdor on 25 Feb 2010 13:05 Does anyone know of a small program that will allow me to have a volume slide control on the task bar permanently? I have the volume control on the taskbar, but the kids have a bit of trouble with it. -- Regards Camdor.

Poke around your system and see if you can find something in there. Tell us the OS and we may be able to help

These might be solutions: http://www.statbar.nl/ http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/volumouse.html http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Mixers-Synthesizers/VolumeTray.shtml Statbar is a toolbar you can park above the taskbar. Lots of info, including a volume slider. Volume Mouse uses the mouse wheel to control sound. VolumeTray may be the closest to what you want. Note: I haven't tried any of these. hth Ron Moore |
