From: spazekaat on 24 Mar 2010 13:43 I would like to suggest that a tool be added which would go and search for DTM client machines. Apparently DTM does not do this - I acdentally deleted a machine and DTM couldn't find it again. The only solution I can see at this point is a complete reinstall of the DTM Controller/Studio/Client software, which is a MAJOR pain. Unless you can suggest a way which isn't obvious......such a tool would be very useful. Thank you. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. From: Cam on 24 Mar 2010 15:06 I think you can just uninstall and then reinstall the DTM client SW. Not too painful. From: spazekaat on 24 Mar 2010 18:13 Tried that first, Cam, didn't work. I ended up reinstalling everything as mentioned below. Thanks for the idea. From: John Garcia on 24 Mar 2010 18:23 I'm interested in understanding this more. You said you uninstalled and reinstalled DTM Client and it didn't show up. Did you refresh studio and look in the “Default Pool” for your machine? John Garcia [MSFT] "spazekaat" wrote in message news:AD966638-D4E9-4A60-ACED-A8DFA6BC7DED(a)microsoft.com...
