Same here. However changing fonts can be unusably slow if you have the
fonts displayed in their typestyle. It can take several minutes to
scroll down to "Times"

However if you turn it off the menu scrolls very fast. Preferences->
General-> deselect "Font Menu in Actual Fonts"

I'd forgotten I had it. Will do. May be a while as I can't do that(I
see it's going to make me restart) at the moment because I have to run
off for a while. I have it sitting open on my desktop, however.

One of idiosyncrasies it that I REALLY prefer WYSIWYG fonts 8-( I can
try that, though.

Note taken. I'll do that as well. I know I can try it free for a while
and haven't gotten around to it. Back-compatibility is very important to
me.
