From: el on 21 Jun 2007 10:58 We have WSS installed with MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2003 using SQL 2005 database on the same server. We are unable to get the Search feature to work. The site was moved from a server to this server using STSADM backup and restore. When we perform a search we get the page that saysL: Go back to site Error Unknown Error Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services. The event viewer is showing: Source: Windows SharePoint Services 3 Category: Timer Event ID: 6398 Type: Error The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.SharePoint.Search.Administration.SPSearchJobDefinition (ID 31e91850-2273-4309-917e-2738d99cf2fb) threw an exception. More information is included below. Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.proc_MSS_GetConfigurationProperty'. AND Source: Windows SharePoint Services 3 Category: Database Event ID: 5586 Type: Error Unknown SQL Exception 2812 occured. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below. Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.proc_MSS_GetConfigurationProperty'. Any help is greatly appreciated.
From: Mike Walsh on 21 Jun 2007 11:34 Unfortunately this is not an issue for a WSS 2.0 or WSS 3.0 installation which is what this newsgroup covers. The error message refers to the WSS 3.0 *technology*. What you have is an installation of MOSS 2007 (as you write). Please post to either a newsgroup that deals with MOSS 2007 installations (such as .sharepoint.portalserver OR to a newsgroup for all SharePoint products (best) - in this case that would be microsoft.public.sharepoint.setup_and_administration as this is an admin question.
