Thanks again Bobby, but "my picture slideshow" in XP is for the
"screensaver." I am looking to be able to have my "wallpaper" perform as a
slideshow. Like thes softwre "web shots" offers. Our offices PC were given
more restrictions and we no longer can have webshots and we are not allowed
"adm. privilages" in order to install SW. That is why I asked for sw that
doesn't require admin. privilages.

If you can make your slideshow into a WMV file you can use it as desktop
background. Check the formats you can save your slideshow in and Google for
ways to convert the file.

You can use Windows Movie Maker to make a WMV file directly and then use it
for the desktop background.

You are lucky that when they set up user priviledges that they allowed you to
choose a background at all. There is a reason they don't allow those slide
shows. Web Shots, and others, exist only to get you to put their malware on
your system.

Your company probably finally got tired of paying for malware removal, or
they use remote destop to maintain your system and those things can turn a
two minute job into 10 or 15. That ads up if you have very many systems to
maintain.

But it's cool if you want to use them at home. Viruses keep me in business
and the rent paid. When folks wise up and realize that the internet isn't a
playgound and most of those cutesy items are only bait, I'll be able to go
back to what I do and enjoy best.
