From: rasp916 on 11 Oct 2006 03:18 I dont think you understand my question DWD or I haven't explained it in a suitable manner. I have created a flash photo gallery using the Photoshop template - 'Flash Web Gallery 3'. This gallery is flash based and has a background color such as Black. I need to override the background color of the FLASH GALLERY and make it transaparent. I need to do this so when I import the FLASH GALLERY into my HTML PAGE, I dont get a big black box covering the background image I already have present on my HTML page. Also, I have a basic understanding of how HTML and CSS works. I am furthering that knowledge by using this forum - isn't that what forums are about - helping each other, whether we are newbies or experts.
From: Deaf Web Designer on 11 Oct 2006 06:06 Thank you for posting a URL, that helps a bit somewhat to understand the gravity of problem you are talking about. It is easier that way by posting URL for that matter. Say, I am curious... what version of Photoshop you are working with? I will take a look at my Photoshop CS2 web gallery and do some bit of experiments with background issue and go from there. My best guess is that you probably can't do that within Photoshop's web gallery to set up black background. Since it is relating to outcome of Photoshop web gallery, I think you probably get some tips or suggestion better than here at Dreamweaver forum. To remedy this, perhaps that you might want to seek some help at Photoshop forum for that matter. I am pretty sure that some people, like you, have dealt with this issue as yours. I don't know, but it can't hurt to try and find out. Try to do a quick search over there at Photoshop relating to your problem. Have a good day!

Ah, I see. I'll see what I can do with my PS CS2 and go from there. I'll do bit of lil experiment sometime later today. I have tons of things to do this morning and in middle of two important projects which I need to get those two done. I'll take a look at those three referenced links later today and see how that goes. Curious, do you have Flash? I also will do bit of research of finding suitable alternative possible solution for you to consider, but please allow me some time to do so later today, ok? At the meantime,I hope someone else could chime in and offer some great tip or suggestion. Let's cross some fingers. ;) Ciao bellissimio, DWD |
