Actually I am denied it - 3.1 is discontinued for VO 2.8. I purchased VOPP 3.1 to work with VO and every time the repo changed, VOPP was rebuilt in the new version and shipped. Now, if I wish to continue with VOPP on 2.8 I have no option but to upgrade. So I have to pay for an upgrade whether I like it or not. Most other 3rd party providers have produced a 2.8 compiled version. What is colouring my attitude this time is that isn't any new feature provided in the upgrade, just compatibility with the new VO compiler and Vista. Both are things I have to provide my clients for no cost. I don't accept for one second that Paul couldn't have spent a few hours 'fixing' 3.1 to work on 2.8 - everyone else did. Also, there have been annoying and significant bugs with VOPP for over two years now and I felt that a repaired version was more our due than a reward. Geoff

From: Filip Fransen on 27 May 2007 08:27 Hi, That is what 'maintenance contracts' are for. I always sell a maintenance contract with my software. If I would give bug fixing for free this would imply that customers with no maintenance contract would get new features when they receive bug fixes.
