I need bison++, not bison.

And could someone please explain to me how a program can simply disappear
from the system? One day it was there, like it has been for years, and then
the next day it's nowhere to be found. Does OpenSUSE remove programs without
asking?

Have you tried downloading and compiling it yourself?

It's not in the main repo, and it's not on the DVDs, so I don't know
how you could have been using it without having installed it from
another source. The only distro that seems to have it packaged up is
Mandriva.

The only time it would get removed is if you installed something that
conflicted with it, and then you'd need to confirm the removal.
