I don't think you would be a good speaker, Herb, as most of the
audience knows the sun look yellowish with a hint of green.

Any many will know that only some narrow bands of radiation, the
visible band among them, make it through the earth's atmosphere.
The majority of gamma, x-ray and much of the UV is blocked. Big
chunks of the IR are blocked.

Human eyes are only sensitive to the 400-700 nm wavelengths.
All other wavelengths have absolutely nothing to do with our
color perception, Herb. This is grade school stuff. Where have
you been?

Aleph Yes sun is listed as a yellow star. However who can say its not

Oh ya Sam that green in the sun is very noticeable. Best you take of
your green lens Sun glasses. I already posted Sam white has every color
in its mixture. Your students have to be smart enough to know the Earth
has life because it has the right stuff to block out sun's harmful
photons. To bad it can't stop all those neutrinos that can cause cancer.
