Might want to try getting your non-binary related news feed from the following free access news server: news.eternal-september.org I've seen quite a few posts in this newsgroup complaing about the spam but hardly ever see any myself because the above news server is filtering it out.

I looked at Google, so-called groups, the other day and it is stuffed to the gunwales with it, not surpring as most comes via their entry point.
