The title says it all? We seem to be acquiring this rubbish in the
newsgroup all of a sudden. Can we eliminate it? I liked the newsgroup
nice and tidy....it was a great read....

newsgroup reader will have a way to show all headers, where you can
typically find the needed information. Then email them requesting the
account to be closed, and include the full message with headers.

I don't know what spam you're talking about. I haven't seen any.

Maybe you need to get a better news host?

Or a better news reader, that can kill on crossposts and such?
