I work in trial mode with matlab. I want to connect a LeCroy Waverunner oscilloscope to a PC and I get the same error described above

What did you mean with:

You will see that the driver tries to communicate with the instrument to get various settings. One of the commands is erroring out. You can put "keyboard" command to enter debug mode while calling the connect command.

Can you tell me exactly what should I do?
