Anyone know if there is a free Wiki web part available that works like the
new Wiki Library in the SharePoint 3.0 release?

I used the new Wiki Library at the MS Project 2006 Conference and really
like it. The only one that I can find that works the same way costs around
$5,000 per server and I cannot justify paying for this functionality when it
will be included in the next release.

I'm running Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 with no service packs.

Thanks,

Charles L. Simpson

I also haven't found a free one on this. Let's see if there is any better
idea from other community members.

Hi,

You should take a look at the following link
(http://blogs.tamtam.nl/mart/TamTamWikiSharePointBeta1ForWSSAndSPS.aspx)
Mart Mullen has created a wiki web part for sharepoint which is for free.

Thanks for the info Nikander & Margriet

This wiki is geared towards working like an encyclopedia. I installed it in
my development environment a couple of months ago and it seems to work OK
(minor graphics problem) for the most part but it does not work like the new
Wiki Library that will be available in the next release of SharePoint.
Anyone else know of a wiki type of library that works similar to the new one
coming out later this year (hopefully)?
