I haven't used my old computer for a long time and now I can't access it
because a login password is required. I don't recall setting up a password
on that computer. I've gone through all of my passwords in memory.

Control/Alt/Delete does not give me the task menu. It does nothing.

I tried using the safe mode. No help.

I tried setting passwords in the startup mode using F1. That was no help.

There is no internet hookup on this computer but it is capable.

Have you tried just pressing ENTER key for password? It could be that there
is a space in the password field and so you are having these problems.
Pressing ENTER key or <SPACE> bar sometimes works.

If this doesn't work then I suggest post to:

Enter Administrator for User and leave the Password filed blank. Then when you boot
up find or delete the Password.

Not an Office Q, you should post to a win group, or google for how to reset
the win admin password
