From: Jack Luminous on 3 Jun 2010 05:30 Hi I have this problem where Windows Explorer crashes every time I attempt to access one particular folder on our network. If I look at the Event Viewer I get the following message: =========================================== Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: 03/06/2010 Time: 08:54:12 User: N/A Computer: NGB01P069 Description: Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.5512, faulting module shlwapi.dll, version 6.0.2900.5912, fault address 0x000084d9. Seems to be caused by shlwapi.dll which contains functions related to UNC and URL paths. Have reinstalled XP SP3 and searched for any registry errors but not had any luck. Would be grateful for any advice received. Many thanks, Dougy
