The best way to accelerate your PC is 9.8 m/sec²

Anything on my Mac that can be is set to output UTF-8

I generally keep my input set to “Unicode Hex Input”
and I've gradually internalized the Unicode values of
things I use a lot. U+00B2 = ² U+00B3 = ³

Those two I don't use a lot, so I still had to look them up.
Which character viewer is good for.

But I don't understand the (C) that came back.
You have one of those broken newsreaders that
screws up encodings?

Usenet was established 7bit (8bit but nobody mapped the upper 128).

9.8m/sec/sec works without any superscript needed. The only thing is that
this newtonian application does not account for relativistic perturbations.
