From: fddc379 on 14 May 2010 10:28 Go to the Control Panel, click on User Accounts and turn it off. You'll have to restart your computer, then install the updates. Once installed, go back to the Control Panel and turn the User Accounts back on. It has worked for me every time an Office 2007 update has failed. From: Bob on 15 May 2010 09:51 I don't see a way to turn off user accounts (Win XP sp3). What am I missing? "fddc379" wrote: > Go to the Control Panel, click on User Accounts and turn it off. You're missing the fact that XP doesn't have UAC, and the OP has Vista, and you hijacked a thread. -- "Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you."
