Nowhere can I see what is the use of this "security update". All I know is that I keep on downloading the friggin thing and installing it repeatedly for the past three days with no friggin result other than the next "update" and the next and the next and the next and the next and the next and the next... Having trouble accessing MS update and Defender update pages. Using IE 7.0.5730, XP SP3...tried the renaming SoftwareDistribution folder, restarting, manually downloading virus updates, but still no access to the MS pages.
