Hi

I have done all of the above (pinged, switched firewall off, SP 3, etc)
except I do not know how to “Make sure that the Intel Wireless Utility and
Windows native Wireless utility are not both loaded up at start up”, but my
notebook still does not connect to the internet. I am so frustrated! Hope
someone can help me.

My PC is connected to the router via ethernet cable and it connects to the
internet with no problem – so do two other laptops in the house connect to
the internet via wireless (using the same wireless network and router).
There are no IP conflicts.

I must also add that I have also tried to connect my notebook to the router
via an ethernet capble and could also not connect to the internet!

Could it be a DHCP problem?
