From: headmotty on 5 Feb 2010 15:18 I'm requesting that a keyboard shortcut for applying the currently selected font color be designed into Word. I suggest Alt+C. It's very easy to highlight the desired text with the mouse in the right hand, and use two left hand fingers to apply the font color by shortcut. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. From: Fumei2 via OfficeKB.com on 5 Feb 2010 16:02 And you are requesting this of whom? I do not even understand what you are requesting. "for applying the currently selected font color " to...the current selected text? "It's very easy to highlight the desired text with the mouse in the right hand, and use two left hand fingers to apply the font color by shortcut." Indeed, it is very easy, as the it would apply the current selected font color...to the current selected text. I.e. it would apply what IS there, to what is there. I do not get it. As for applying the current format to OTHER text you select, this ability has been around for a long time with FormatPainter. headmotty wrote: >I'm requesting that a keyboard shortcut for applying the currently selected >font color be designed into Word.
