sorry for not following this closer. stuff has been happening....

i had x forwarding turned on in both the ssh_config/client and
sshd_config/server files.
didn't work. unless... did i also need AllowTcpForwarding turned on
in sshd_config?

i was planning to look at the two svc profiles with netservices open
and limited
to see what was different. but i haven't had time to set up a test
box.
