It's an involved process but it may work: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545.

What AV plan guarantees freedom from viruses & malware? 2. Test Power Supply Unit (free in most specialist PC repair shops.) 3. Test RAM (e.g. RAMTEST86 run from floppy.) 4.
