You're not going to be able to access the Fox Pro stuff from OS X, not
without going to a _lot_ of trouble. For this kind of thing I'd install XP
Pro (NOT XP Home) into Parallels or VMWare and use that.

If you have XP Pro installed you should be able to access things in exactly
the same way as any other XP Pro install. If XP Home is installed, you're
gonna have a problem, but you should still be able to get through. What
problems did you have.

If your IT guy can't get an XP install (Pro or Home) to connect via a VPN you
need a new IT guy. If you're in South Florida I'm available..
