From: jlen7 on 23 Jul 2010 14:45 I have an emac and imac (10.4) that will connect to my network only via Internet Connect. However, upon log out/in, the wep key (128 bit) is lost. The airport will associate with network, but not authenticate. I've tried deleting the locations, deleting the airport, deleting the network pref files, zapping pram, deleting keychain entries, but no success. The SSID is not broadcast, by the way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The SSID is not broadcast, by the way. it shouldn't be lost, but use wpa instead. wep won't do much beyond stopping the most casual users. |
