From: Archimedes Plutonium on 1 Jul 2010 02:14 Why assign when physics demands temperature to phenomenon. When a baby is borne, a name given to the baby is utterly arbitrary but the genes and genome of that baby is fixed by physics. Absolute zero temperature is fixed by physics as no motion. The fact that the smallest temperature of a ELECTRON blackbody cavity is 1 degree Kelvin is fixed by physics just as a person genome is fixed by physics. What is more, that 0Kelvin is tied to that Electron Blackbody Cavity of 1Kelvin. > It is an arbitrary system, and is prone to no such mathematical > "strange attractors" as you imagine. So you think an electron is a strange attractor. A cavity is a strange attractor. A blackbody is a strange attractor. A "no motion" is a strange attractor. Where do you get blackbody radiation? There is only one place it is found and that is the inside of atoms and atomic structure. An explosion has a glow aftereffect. But no explosion is blackbody. (snipped) Forget about all those arbitrary 1 degree temperature units which are not connected to absolute zero. What is connected to absolute zero as "no motion" is the smallest blackbody cavity of an electron. The smallest such cavity has a temperature of e^0 and since the exponent is zero then the temperature is 1 degree Kelvin. In this manner you have Absolute Zero as "no motion" and you have Absolute 1 degree which is the smallest electron blackbody cavity. So now you have tied 0 and 1 absolutely and so the rest of the Kelvin temperature scale is an Absolute Temperature Scale where all other scales are arbitrary.
