From: joemeshuggah on 15 Mar 2010 10:11 i am trying to import a csv file into my calendar. the csv file has "FALSE" listed for the privacy setting. i thought changing it to TRUE would tag all of the events as private, but that did not seem to work. what needs to be done to import all as private? thanks!

I'm not sure.... but you can import, use a table view (like all appointments) add the modified field and private field - right click on the private field and choose Group by. Drag appointments between the private: no and private: yes group. The Modified field helps you identify the items you imported - if you sort by it, they will be together. See http://www.slipstick.com/tutorials/private/private.htm for a video tutorial. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "joemeshuggah" <joemeshuggah(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E8E6193F-6C4F-4E0C-84DA-0F6D668CACB1(a)microsoft.com... > i am trying to import a csv file into my calendar. the csv file has > "FALSE" > listed for the privacy setting. i thought changing it to TRUE would tag > all > of the events as private, but that did not seem to work. what needs to be > done to import all as private? > > thanks! |
