Depends a bit on how severe you want to get. It is possible to disable
all image loading, but most web sites use images for so many things they
become useless if the images aren't there.

Agreed about PithHelmet, but are animated GIFs really a CPU hog? Sure,
they can be really annoying, but AFAIK they're nothing like Flash
animations in terms of CPU usage.
