I tested "iSCSI Enterprise Target" with both GNU/Linux clients and
Windows XP. There are a few steps to get XP to work over iSCSI, as
detailed here:

where can i get these special "M$ iSCSI Software Initiator" download?
imo not (no more) from M$ !
