It's a little hard to say what the cause is without more detail, but you might try manually installing the Windows Update Client and Background Intellengent Transfer Service from: http://download.windowsupdate.com/windowsupdate/redist/standalone/7.2.6001.7 88/windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe and http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B93356B1-BA43-480F- 983D-EB19368F9047&displaylang=en If that doesn't work, give us some more detail about your Operating system and what you have tried so far. -Eddie
