Call the police! Call the President! Call your mother! Call a mind
reader, because with all the information you gave only a mind reader can
know what OS, architecture, SP#, 32 or 64bit or KB# you're referring to.

When posting to this Newsgяoup orForums it is requested that you
at least provide us with details of the operating system
you are using including Service Pack level.
Also, could you supply some information on what your firewall is,
what is the installed antivirus/security suite,
other R-TP programs, e.g. Spybot Search & Destroy (reduced functionality
called "TeaTimer") Avira (From version 9) (Included in antivirus package),
Ad-Aware, etc?

Please do so in your next reply.

Error 0x8020000E is: BG_E_VOLUME_CHANGED

"The destination volume has changed. If the disk is removable, it might have
been replaced with a different disk. Reinsert the original disk and resume
the job."

By renaming/deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder you will lose your WU
History listing (not important). If everything is working okay again you can
delete the renamed SoftwareDistribution folder.

Renaming the SoftwareDistribution folder

Click Start, Choose Run.
In the Run box, type services.msc.
Click OK.
Right-click the Automatic Updates service.
Click Stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

Rename the "SoftwareDistribution" folder:

a. Click Start, click Run, type
%systemroot%, and then click OK.

b. Right-click the SoftwareDistribution folder, and then click Rename.

c. Type SoftwareDistribution.old, and then press ENTER to rename this folder.

Click Start. Choose Run.
In the Run box, type services.msc.
Click OK.
Right-click the Automatic Updates service.
Click Start.

Once you've received a correct answer to your question, either from a
Microsoft employee, an MVP, or the community in general, please reply that
the solution has been answered and
what solved it. This step is important,
since it lets other people benefit from your posts.

Hope this helps, if not wait for more responses, please.
