From: me too on 12 Sep 2005 20:36 I am having the same problem, my password is 9 characters long and it changes it to 8. The funny thing is that everyone else in my house that uses messenger can sign in no problems can anyone explain why it is only happening to 1 account. From: Alex on 12 Sep 2005 21:44 I have a simular problem, as Jacob stated, troubleshoot says that firewall is blocking msn messenger, i didi the whole firewall settings, exceptions instructions. didint help. i ran troublshoot again, it checked off all options. i tried turning firewall off yet no success. any1 have any helpfull sugestions or links where i can download the older version of msn messenger, like msn7.0 or something.
