Hi,

I'm looking for an ftp client that will read an external file to
configure file synchonization with a remote server. Here's an example
of what the external file might look like:

URL ftp://zyz:@ftp.xzycorp.com/public_ftp/projects/808/
PATH Macintosh HD:Users:xyz:Public:projects:808:
DOWNLOAD
NOPROMPT

All the best,
Tom

ncftpget might do what you want:

Built for Mac, Transmit
http://www.panic.com/transmit/

New version 4 re-designed (just out).
I use the last updated version 3 (3.7).

Did you bother to actually read the question?

JR, I thought I read and understood the question. Obviously, I have
failed in some way; probably in the realm of supposed knowledge. I will
refrain and continue my successful self-appointment as InMyOwnHouse
Lurker.
