From: Timothy Mathews on 1 May 2010 12:08 I just got a photo which is a negative and if one of the apps included with my Mac can reverse it, I don't know what it is. Is there a method for accomplishing this with one of the basic Mac apps or do I need to get Gimp or some other photo editing software. I also have Picaso on my system and it doesn't seem to have the capability either. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks, Tim

Tim- I had a negative photostat of some sheet music and was able to use GraphicConverter to reverse it. The Invert command was under the Picture menu in the older version I have. I couldn't find a way to do it in iPhoto or Aperture. Preview has the Edit-Invert Selection, but that just unselects the selection and selects everything else instead! Fred |
