I've found if you enter too little, you get nothing. (Maybe due to the list being too long????) Of course, if you have too many requirements, you can get nothing, too, since there are not any boards that meet those requirements. Just keep trying. Stef

I will probably try again but I got a recommendation in another thread that seems very, very attractive. <http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128371> Felmon

I used MOBOT successfully when building my current 64-bit system--now, 3.5 years old--for which I had very specific needs. It took a while (off an on over about 3 weeks) and lot a trial and error with parameters, but I ended up with a selection of 3 boards--all met or exceeded my requirements--from which to make a final choice. From: Doug Mitton on 8 Jun 2010 08:08 I'm looking for components to build a 64 bit Linux machine myself. I'm reading what I can find but would like to get comments from those going through this now. This will be my winter project. I'm curious how this is going for you. This looks to be a very full featured board that I may be interested in as well. Have you got it up and running yet? What did you get for a video card? What distribution did you use? Any problems to report? Thanks in advance. felmon <nemo(a)nowhere.INVALID> wrote: >On Mon, 31 May 2010 06:22:04 +0000, Stefan Patric wrote: > >> On Sun, 30 May 2010 12:18:06 -0500, felmon wrote: >> >>> On Sun, 30 May 2010 17:02:54 +0000, Stefan Patric wrote: >>> >>>> On Sat, 29 May 2010 23:21:42 -0500, felmon wrote: >>>> >>>> >>>>> my cpu is: >>>>> >>>>> * Intel core 2 duo >>>>> * FSB 1333 MHz >>>>> * Socket LGA775 >>>>> * L2 Cache 6MB >>>> >>>> Add more requirements.
