Once it's out there in the usenet, it's immortal. On the Mathworks site you can get several people to tag your posting as spam, but that just gets rid of it from the Mathworks portal into the usenet. BUT it's not just the Mathworks newsreader that accesses this newsgroup on the usenet - there are hundreds of them or more.
