From: Trevor Smithson on 15 Jan 2010 13:02 Just curious, seems like my systems have more running than I would've expected. My main work PC has 97 at the moment, and the htpc has 73. Neither is slow or laggy, but I'm gonna try and trim down 97 to something more reasonable.

Do some research before removing or blocking certain processes. Many are superfluous, but some will create problems in unexpected ways if you shut them down. That includes avast, ad-aware, teatimer(spybot) and Winpatrol.
