From: gtr on 21 May 2010 15:49 I have been doing some video (with audio) recording. I've used QuickTime to do recordings and in the video viewer screen for recording there options that allow the selection of various video sources (I have both a built in iSight with my iMac as well as an outboard iSight camera/mic), and audio sources which include both iSight, internal mic and a USB source I have for interface with my mixer. I have been using my outboard iSight camera for video and my mixer for audio. In this way I can add reverb to both a guitar and vocal microphone separately and it is vastly better than the little mics in the isight devices. I note in iMovie that in the recording screen I have a selection option but it only indicates video sources, there are no selection of audio sources. Thus I can't select my mixer (via USB) for a sound source. Is there no way to select an audio source in iMovie other than those associated with the cameras?
