Not long - just did it. 400MB-odd download, phone sits and sulks and
reboots, about 5 minutes. YMMV.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Grab ice cream now, iPhone won't take
long to update once home. Ten minute job this morning on to my 3GS

I'm finding Notes buggy under 4.0.1; synchnonises from Mac to iPhone but not
vice versa.

all fine here set the update going while waking up with cup of tea,
haven't used it much but so far seems fine.
