Hi All,

Just saw my first TV ad for the iPad (on Virgin1) and it was quite
good. It seemed to cover 'the point' and some good points (like
battery life), even if you didn't know it existed previously.

For those of us in the know the deeper issues can often be more about
what it can't do rather than what it can (and no matter how well it
can) but I guess with the iPad being partly 'soft', the potential size
of the market and the 'hop ups' [1] Apple are bound to drip-feed to
their keen followers over the next few years, those issues will be
sorted in any case.

8/10 for the ad though and probably more relevant to the more mature
viewer than the iPod ads.

[1] A term often used in the model racing world to mean bits you can
buy extra to make it go faster etc.
